About JCI accreditation
Many of our partner hospitals are JCI accredited, an international sign of quality in healthcare.
The Joint Commission International (JCI) is the international division of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, which is the predominant body for accrediting hospitals in the United States. Like its parent organization, JCI is a not-for-profit body dedicated to improving healthcare quality and safety around the world. Through international consultation, accreditation, publications and education, JCI helps to improve the quality of patient care in more than 60 countries. JCI works directly with healthcare organizations to achieve their goals of providing quality clinical care and services in safe, efficient and well-managed facilities.
JCI provides Assessment and Improvements for the following key functions:
- Access to and continuity of care
